Hello, my
name is Katie! After being in a tragic accident I became disabled in my right
leg, after being hit by a car on my bicycle, resulting in a tib/fib compound fracture
|
||
After I got better, 2 surgeries and a lot of physical therapy later,
I decided to turn a negative into a positive, with mobility issues, PTSD, among
other things, I wanted to better those in my community that struggled the way
I had or worse.
|
||
I looked for ways to help those in my community, by adding in handicap buttons on doors, helping online fundraisers for those in medical need, and now helping those who need a service animal, know how to raise their own. |

My name is Nox (short for Noctis) and I'm a Service Animal for multiple conditions, this is the story of how I came to be with my owner Katie. I'm a purebred short haired black German Shepherd. I was born on July 26, 2017, in Maine. My mom weighed 83lbs, and my dad weighed 104lbs. Adopted on 10/22/2017. This blog was created (because I'm awesome) and to show the world my documented story growing up and training. There's a lot of pages, sites, and scams out there about Service Dogs, so this is a detailed story step by step through my birth, training, and hardships as a puppy in the service dog world.
I can’t wait to share my story with the world to make it easier for those who don’t know the process (the right and legal way) to becoming a service animal raised at home with my owner! Thanks for visiting my page, and if I'm was helpful in your journey or you have advice, questions, or concerns, email me!
